If your cellular phone features Bluetooth wire-
less technology, you can connect to this unit
for hands-free, wireless calls, even while driving.
Important
Since this unit is on standby to connect with your
cellular phones via Bluetooth wireless technol-
ogy, using this unit without running the engine
can result in battery drainage.
1 Sourceicon
Shows which source has been selected.
2 Device name
Shows the device name of the cellular
phone.
3 Signal level indicator
Shows the signal strength of cellular phone.
! Signal level indicator may differ from the
actual signal level.
4 User number indicator
Shows the registration number of the cellu-
lar phone.
5 Battery strength indicator
Shows the battery strength of cellular
phone.
! Battery strength indicator may differ
from the actual battery strength.
! If the battery strength is not available,
nothing is displayed in the battery
strength indicator area.
6 Incoming call notice indication
Shows when an incoming call has been re-
ceived and not checked yet.
7 Automatic answering/Automatic reject-
ing indicator
Shows AUTO when the automatic answer-
ing function is on (for more details, refer to
Setting the automatic answering on page
54).
Shows REJECT when the automatic reject-
ing function is on (for more details, refer to
Setting the automatic rejecting on page 54).
8 Calendar display
Shows the date, and time (if connected with
a phone).
Notes
! This unit’s phonecall receptionis on standby
when ignition switch is set to ACC or ON.
! The line-of-sight distancebetween thisunit
and your cellularphone mustbe 10 meters or
less for sending and receiving voice and data
via Bluetooth wireless technology. However,
the transmission distance maybecome short-
er than theestimated distance,depending on
the environment in use.
! In order to use Bluetooth wireless technology,
devices must be able to interpret certain pro-
files. This unitis compatible with thefollowing
profiles.
