Use the following procedure to configure settings for using a DDNS (Dynamic Domain Name System).
1 Click the [Network] button on the setup menu.
2 On the sub-menu that appears, click [DDNS].
This will display the [DDNS] setup window.
3 Configure the settings for each item.
Refer to “DDNS settings” table for details about setting items.
4 Click the [Set] button.

Item Settings Description
DDNS Off / On Specifies whether a DDNS is used.
User name Name input (Blank) Enter the user name to be registered on the DDNS.
Enter up to 32 single-byte alphanumeric characters and
symbols.

Password Password input (Blank) Enter the password for the above user name.
Enter up to 32 single-byte alphanumeric characters and
symbols.

Access interval 10min / 30min / 1h / 6h / 24h Specifies the DNS update interval.
Host name Name input (ND400) Enter the host name to be registered on the DDNS.
Enter up to 255 single-byte alpha-numeric characters,
including hyphen (-) and period (.).
