Notes on “To connect bi-wire
speakers”
Bi-wire speakers have separate connection terminals for high
frequency and low frequency signals (
page 22).
Bi-wiring prevents high frequency and low frequency signals
from interfering with each other. It offers playback in high
audio quality.
• HF and LF stand for high frequency and low frequency,
respectively.
Notes on “Using surround speakers
wirelessly with SH-FX67”
• Audio output changes as follows when you use surround
speakers wirelessly (
page 23).
- The maximum number of playback channels is 7.1. (2 sets
of SH-FX67 are necessary.)
- See SH-FX67’s operating instructions for setting surround
selector on SH-FX67 to enjoy 7.1ch playback.
To perform the auto speaker setup using the supplied
setup microphone
Insert digital transmitter before performing the setup.
Settings made with the setup microphone are cancelled
when y
ou insert or remove the transmitter after performing
the setup.

Notes on “AUTO SPEAKER SETUP”
• Speaker placement, speaker directions and other conditions
may prevent correct setting.
• The unit sets the lowpass filter frequency at the value of the
speaker capable of reproducing the lowest frequency signal
among speakers judged as “SMALL ”.
When left and right speakers differ in size, they are set as
SMALL ”.
When surround speakers and surround back speakers differ
in size, they are set as “SMALL ”.
Left and right front speakers are set as “LARGE ” even if their
siz
e is “SMALL ” when you perform the auto speaker setup
without connecting the subw
oofer.
• The unit does not detect or correct polarity of left and right
front speakers when you select “YES
in “Making bi-wire
setting” (
page 38).
HDAVI Control (
page 32) does not work during the auto
speak
er setup.
• The auto speaker setup is unavailable while muting
(
page 31) is on.
The unit sets at 15 meters (45 feet) the distance of speakers
located more than 15 meters (45 feet) away from the seating
area. The set distance is displayed as “OVER ” (
page 37).
Speakers whose polarity was automatically adjusted are
displayed with “

page 37).
