BASIC OPERATION
1. Press

to select the
desired audio source.
2. If you select
TUNER/BAND
,
select the desired station (see
“Using the Tuner” on Page 14).
If you select
CD PLAY/PAUSE
or
TAPE,
start the selected audio
source (see “Using the CD
Changer” on Page 16 or “Using
the Cassette Deck” on Page 22).
3. Adjust
VOLUME
to a comfortable
listening level.
4. Adjust
BALANCE
until you can
hear the sound equally from the
left and right speakers.
5. Press
E-BASS
to emphasize
bass sounds. The E-BASS
indicator lights. To return to nor-
mal bass sounds, press
E-BASS
again. The E-BASS indicator
turns off.
6. To turn off the system, press
POWER
. The STAND BY indica-
tor lights.
