Note:
This procedure can also be performed on the AV
receiver by using its [SETUP], [ENTER], and arrow
buttons.
Speaker Distance
With the Speaker Distance settings, you can specify the
distance from each speaker to the listening position. You
can set the distances for front Speakers A and front
Speakers B independently. The other speakers (i.e., sub-
woofer, center, surround, and surround back) use the
same distance settings for Speakers A and Speakers B.

Press the [RECEIVER] REMOTE
MODE button, and then use the
remote controller’s [SP A] or
[SP B] button to select Speakers
A or Speakers B, respectively.
Note:
Speakers B cannot be selected if
Speaker Type Front B is set to Not
Use.

Press the [SETUP] button.
The main menu appears onscreen.

Use the Up and Down [ ]/[ ]
buttons to select “2. Speaker
Setup,” and then press [ENTER].
The Speaker Setup menu appears.

Use the Up and Down [ ]/[ ]
buttons to select “3. Speaker Dis-
tance,” and then press [ENTER].
The Speaker Distance screen appears.
Note:
Speakers that you set to No or None
in the Speaker Configuration
(page 94) cannot be selected.
These settings are set automatically by the Automatic
Speaker Setup function (see page 61).
