Double Bass
With the Double Bass function, you can boost
bass output by feeding bass sounds from the
front left, right, and center channels to the
subwoofer.
Note:
•To return to the previous menu, press the
[RETURN] button.
Speaker Distances
With the Speaker Distance settings, you can
specify the distances from the speakers to
your listening position.

Press the Down [ ] button to
select “D. Bass” (Double Bass)
and then use the Left and Right
[ ]/[ ] buttons to select:
On:
Double Bass function
on. Bass from the front
left and right channels is
also fed to the sub-
woofer (default).
Off:
Double Bass function
off.
Note:
• If the Subwoofer setting in
step 3 is set to No, or the Front
setting in step 4 is set to
Small, this setting does not
appear.

This setting is not set automatically by
the Automatic Speaker Setup function
(see page 32).

Measure and make a note of
the distance from each speaker
to your listening position.

Press the [SETUP] button.

Use the Up and Down [ ]/[ ]
buttons to select “2. Speaker
Setup,” and then press
[ENTER].

Use the Up and Down [ ]/[ ]
buttons to select “SpeakerDis-
tance,” and then press
[ENTER].
These settings are set automatically by
the Automatic Speaker Setup function
(see page 32).
