Turning on the power
1 Press the POWER switch.
The recorder returns to the same state as you
pressed the POWER switch last time. When you
turn the main power on first time, the standby
indicator lights and the DX-R700 enters the
standby state.
If you turn off the main power last time with the
DX-R700 turned on, without pressing the
STANDBY/ON button the recorder will be
automatically turned on after pressing the
POWER switch next time. In this case, if the CD
is already loaded, the DX-R700 will automatically
start playback.
Connecting the power cord
Before you plug in the DX-R700, confirm that all the other connections have been made properly.
Turning the power on
When a malfunction occurs
The DX-R700 employs a microcomputer to realize its
advanced features. Although quite rare, occasionally
noise from outside the unit, interruption noise, or
static electricity may cause a malfunction. If a
malfunction occurs, unplug the power cord and
after about 5 seconds plug it in again.
Note:
The DX-R700 is shipped with the main power
(POWER) switch in the on position. When the power
cord is plugged in for the first time, the DX-R700 will
automatically enter the standby state and the
standby indicator will light (same condition after step
1 on the left).
