Analog recording

Note:
The level sync function uses the recording source
level to detect the end and beginning of tracks.
Therefore, in the cases given below, the track
numbers may not be properly assigned.
The recording on the cassette tape is poor (e.g.,
the space between songs contains much noise).
With music such as classical music where there
may be very low volumes.
Where the space between songs is extremely short.
If the signal at the tuner is weak (excessive noise).
When recording from turntables.
To return to manual assignment of the track
numbers
Set "Off" at step 2 (see page 27).
3 Press the YES button.
The level sync function turns on. Press the EDIT/
NO button to return to the previous setting.
2 Press the YES button.
The current setting appears. The current setting
is given on the left side (for the display given
below, the current setting is "Off").
Setting the track numbers automatically
The level sync function is turned off during analog
recording. Press the o REC button (or the remote
controller RECo button) and assign the track numbers
automatically.
To have the track numbers assigned automatically by the
CDR-205X, turn on the level sync function.
1 During recording or while in the
recording standby state, press the
EDIT/NO button repeatedly until "Level
Sync?" appears.
