Operations
Synchronous recording from an MD
recorder or tape deck to the CDR-
205X.
Preparation
Turn on the CDR-205X (see page 15).
Place the MD or cassette in the MD deck or tape
deck. (Refer to the instruction manual for the
MD-105X or K-505X.)
Place a recordable CD-R or CD-RW in the CDR-
205X (see page 16).
1 Repeatedly press the INPUT button
until "Analog In" appears.
Synchronous recording (component system operation)
4 Press s button at the MD recorder or
tape deck.
The MD recorder or tape deck starts playing and
recording starts at the CDR-205X.
The level sync function turns off.
When the MD or tape finishes
The CDR-205X automatically returns to the
recording standby state.
To stop the synchronous recording
Stop play at the MD or tape deck.
Note:
When recording from an MD recorder or a tape
deck, select "Analog In."
Synchronous recording cannot be performed
when "Digital In2" or "Digital In1" is selected.
2 Adjust the recording level
(see page 29)
3 Press the o REC button (or the remote
controller REC o button).
Rec Setup appears in the display followed by
the time display (the recording standby state).
When the CDR-205X finishes
The MD or tape deck automatically returns to the
recording standby state.
To stop the synchronous recording
Stop play at the CDR-205X.
2 Press the n button (or the remote
controller s button).
The CDR-205X begins playback and the MD or
tape deck begins recording.
Synchronous recording from the
CDR-205X to an MD recorder or tape
deck
Preparation
Turn on the CDR-205X (see page 15).
Place the MD or cassette for recording in the
MD deck or tape deck. (Refer to the instruction
manual for the MD-105X or K-505X.)
Place the CD, CD-R or CD-RW to be recorded in
the CDR-205X (see page 16).
1 Put the MD recorder or tape deck in its
recording standby state.
For information on how to operate the MD
recorder or tape deck, refer to the instruction
manual for the MD-105X or K-505X.
