In regard to the DOT/ CHARA. key
÷ When no track name (track title) and no disc name (disc title) has been recorded, “NO TITLE” is displayed.
÷ “BLANK DISC” is displayed when not even one track has been recorded. (When there is a disc title, the disc
title will be displayed.)
When a title recorded in a CD-TEXT or MD disc is too long
to be displayed in the dot display, press this key to scroll
the display and view the characters which has not be
displayed.
With an MD, this key is also used to switch the dot display
modes.
With a CD-TEXT or MD disc
(When pressed during stop) (When pressed during playback)
Scrolls the track title display.
MD
Scrolls the disc title display.
(When pressed during stop or playback) (When pressed during MD recording)
(Return to 1 after title scroll display.)
(The display returns to 1 in 5
seconds.)
