REMOTE CONTROL FEATURES

OPERATION
You can select the unit you want to operate with the
remote control by entering the library code.
1 Press CODE SET using a ballpoint pen or
similar object.
The TRANSMIT indicator on the remote control
flashes twice.
2 Enter the code number “9991” or “9992” (see
the table below).
The TRANSMIT indicator on the remote control
flashes twice, and the library code is changed.
When using multiple YAMAHA receivers/amplifiers, you
may be able to operate the other components simultaneously
with the default code setting. In this case, set one of the
alternative codes to operate this unit separately.
You must also make settings for the receiver/amplifier.
1 Press an input selector button or to
select the component control for which you
want to clear the remote control code.
2 Press CODE SET using a ballpoint pen or
similar object.
The TRANSMIT indicator on the remote control
flashes twice.
3 Enter the code number “0000”.
The TRANSMIT indicator on the remote control
flashes twice, and the remote control code for the
selected component is cleared.

If you do not press any button within 30 seconds after step 2,
the clearing process is canceled. If this happens, start over from
step 1.
You can clear all setup remote control codes at once by entering
the code number “9990”.
