TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE

SOLUTION
PROBLEM
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Insert the power plug into theAC outlet.
No power when the unit is on.
No power plug connection at the AC
outlet.
No sound from TV or PA.
Turn up the volume on the TV or PAsystem.
TV or PAsystem is set to minimum.
Power the TV or PAsystem on.
TV or PAsystem is powered off.
Select the correct function.
The wrong function is selected.
Press Muting button again.
Muting button is pressed.
Select the correct vocal or audio setting.
The vocal or audio setting is not
correct.
Turn up the volume.
No sound.
Volume control is set to minimum.
Ensure white and red patch cords are
securely inserted into both The Singing
Machine and the TV/PAsystem.
Patch cords are not connected
securely.
If you have followed the instructions and are having difficulty operating the unit, locate the PROBLEM in the left
column below. Check the corresponding POSSIBLE CAUSE column to locate and remedy the problem.
Insert disc correctly.
Wipe clean with soft cloth.
Use a new disc.
Use a new disc.
Only use discs bearing standard logo as
described on page E5.
Wait about 20 to 30 minutes to let it dry out.
Disconnect the machine from power
source for 30 seconds then reconnect.
Disc is inserted upside down.

Machine and the home stereo system.

Machine and the VCR.
Patch cords are not connected

While playing CDG and
singing with the microphone,
the music or vocal cuts out.
AVC is activated unintentionally.
Deactivate theAVC.
Playing music only track.
Play track that includes music and vocal.
Audio channel is set to LEFT.
Press AUDIO button on the remote control
to restore STEREO setting.
Video cable is not connected to the
Video input jack.
Connect Video cable to Video input jack
with theAudio connections.
