Alarm menu
Sleep timer function
Explanation:
The sleep timer function is used to switch the device off
automatically after a selected time (slumber function).
Operation:
Select TUNER as the listening source:
Press the
button briefly
To set the sleep timer press the remote control buttons in
the sequence stated above. To activate the sleep timer
you have to select a power-off time (in minutes), using
the
/
buttons:
15, 30, 45, 60, 90, 120.
Once you have selected the power-off time, the sleep
timer is activated by pressing the
button briefly.
The
- symbol now flashes until the machine switches
itself off automatically at the end of the selected time.
Clock –
Selecting the method of setting the time
Explanation:
The machine features an integral clock module which is
capable of switching on the machine at a pre-selected
time (alarm function).
Before you use the alarm function you must set the
correct time of day. The following methods of setting the
clock are available:
Manual setting (see 'Manual clock setting')
Automatic clock setting from an RDS radio station
Operation:
Select TUNER as the listening source:
Press the remote control
button
To change the method of setting the clock press the
remote control buttons in the sequence stated below:
The screen displays the following:

' The time of day can be set manually in the
next menu point

' The time of day is set automatically from the
RDS signal and accepted by the machine -
this requires good reception of an RDS
signal.
In this case the time of day cannot be
changed manually! Note that it may take
several minutes for the time to be picked up
from a station even with a good RDS signal.
Note:
The RDS clock time is always taken from the station
currently selected on the tuner.
If you are able to receive RDS stations from different
time zones, we recommend that you set the clock
manually.
