PAINTING THE CABINET, BRACKET
KNOBS AND BRACKET:
1. Applytwo thincoats ofprimer tothe cabinetand knobs.
The bracketdoes notrequire aprimer.
2. Whenthe primeris completelydry, applythe finish
color [figure 21].
3. Whenthe paintiscompletely dry, removethemasking material.

ompletely dry.T ryto keepall handlingof freshlypainted
parts to aminimum.
PAINTING THE GRILLE:
1. Thegrille of theAtrium speakerfeatures aneven, protective
powder coating.This powdercoating is a nideal primer.
2. Spraytwo thincoats offinish colorwith noprimer [figure22].
If you’reusing acompressor andspray gun,use thefinest,
most diffusesetting. Becareful notto fillthe h olesin the
grille with paint. Thickpaint may clogthe grilleholes.
3. Whenthe paintis c ompletelydry ,carefully fitthe grilleinto its
recess sothat itis justresting onthe c abinet.Starting with
one corner,go aroundthe speakerand pushthe grilleinto the
grille notcha littlebit ata time.Be gentle;the grillemay b e
easily bentout ofshape byrough handling.
PEINTURE DU CAISSON, DES SUPPORTS
ET DES BOUTONS DES SUPPORTS:
1. Appliquezdeux mincescouches depeinture d’apprêt aux
caissons et aux boutons.Le supportne requiertpas d’apprêt.
2. Lorsquela peintured’apprêt est complètementsèche,
appliquez lapeinture definition [figure 21].
3. Lorsquela peinturede finitionest complètementsèche,
retirez lescache-peinture.

. Ne réinstallezpas l’enceinte dans sonsupport avantque la
peinture nesoit complètement sèche.Évitez autant que
possible de manipuler lespièces fraîchementpeintes.
PEINTURE DE LA GRILLE:
1. Lagrille desenceintes Atriumest enduite d’unrevêtement
de poudreprotectrice. Ce revêtement depoudre constitue
un apprêtidéal.
2. Appliquezdeux couchesminces depeinture de finition en
aérosol (sans apprêt)[figure 22].Si vousutilisez uncompres-
seur ou un pistolet pulvérisateur,choisissez leréglage leplus
fin, leplus diffus.Assurez-vous de ne pasboucher lestrous
de lagrille avecla peinture.Une peinture tropépaisse
pourrait boucher lestrous de la grille.
3. Lorsquela peintureest complètementsèche, posezdélicate-
ment lagrille surl’écran acoustiquede l’enceinte.En com-
mençant par uncoin, poussez petità petitla grilledans son
encoche toutautour de l’écran. Soyez délicat,la grille peut
être facilementtordue.
