Introduction
Recording CDs from the disc changer has several advantages over
recording from an external CD player.
• Double speed copying lets you record a disc in half the
regular time.
• Automatic spacing when individual tracks are recorded.
• Automatic SCMS copying makes sure that, whenever
possible, you'll get a digital copy. In the event of a disc
preventing digital copying with SCMS, the link beween the
changer and the CD-R automatically switches to analog.
Recording CDs
If you want to duplicate a CD exactly as it is, the easiest way is to
follow the steps in Quick CD Recording on page 21. The
instructions here give you a little more control over the recording
you make.
1 Load the CD you want to copy in to the CD
changer.
You can use any of the three disc trays in the changer.
2 Load a CD-R or CD-RW into the
CD-R tray.
If the disc isn't blank, make sure that there is enough space
on the disc for what you want to record (see Switching the
Display on page 29–31 for how to check this).
3 Press REC MODE.
The display shows DISC REC.
If you want to switch the copying speed, do so here. The
default is 2x speed. See Changing the recording speed on
page 48 for how to change it.

Introduction
L’enregistrement de CD à partir du changeur de disque présente
plusieurs avantages par rapport à l’enregistrement depuis un
lecteur CD extérieur.
• Vitesse de copiage double vous permettant d’enregistrer un
disque en la moitié du temps ordinaire.
• Espacement automatique lors de l’enregistrement de plages
individuelles.
• Copiage SCMS automatique assurant que, chaque fois que
c’est possible, vous obtiendrez une copie numérique. Dans le
cas d’un disque interdisant la copie avec SCMS, la liaison
entre le changeur et le CD-R commute automatiquement à
analogique.
Enregistrement d’un CD
Si vous souhaitez copier un CD tel quel, le plus simple est de
procéder comme indiqué dans Enregistrement rapide de CD à la
page 21. Les instructions ici vous permettent de contrôler un peu
plus l’enregistrement que vous effectuez.
1 Chargez le CD que vous souhaitez copier
dans le changeur CD.
Vous pouvez utiliser l’un des trois tiroirs dans le changeur.
2 Chargez un CD-R ou CD-RW dans le tiroir
CD-R.
Si le disque n’est pas vierge, vérifiez qu’il y a suffisamment
d’espace libre dessus pour ce que vous souhaitez enregistrer
(consultez Commutation de l’affichage à la page 29–31).
3 Appuyez sur REC MODE.
L’affichage indique DISC REC.
Si vous souhaitez commutez la vitesse de copie, faites-le
maintenant. La vitesse par défaut est vitesse 2x. Consultez
Modification de la vitesse d’enregistrement à la page 48.
