Using the menu system
Access to many of the less commonly used
functions of the MJ-L11 is via a menu
system. Each component (CD player, tuner,
auxiliary, and this MD recorder) has its
own set of menu options, but access to all
of them is from the SYSTEM MENU
(MENU) button.
Pressing SYSTEM MENU (MENU)
displays the menu options for the system,
and from that menu you can choose the
menu for the component you're currently
using. For example most of the features
associated with this MD recorder will be
found under MD MENU. You can change
the displayed option by pressing 2 and 3
(4 and ¢).
To select the menu option currently
displayed, press the ENTER (SET) button.
If you make a mistake while in the menu
system, simply press 7 to cancel and exit.
Note
The remote contol button names for both
the XC-L11 CD tuner and the XV-DV77/
DV88 DVD/CD tuner have been included in
all instructions in this manual. In cases
where the operation is the same, the
button names for the DVD/CD tuner will
appear first, followed by those for the CD
tuner in parentheses.

Utilisation du système de
menus
Vous pouvez accéder aux fonctions moins
souvent utilisées du MJ-L11 par
l’intermédiaire d’un système de menus.
Chaque appareil (lecteur de CD, tuner,
appareil auxiliaire et cet enregistreur de
MD) a sa propre série d’options de menu,
mais l’accès à toutes ces options se fait à
l’aide de la touche SYSTEM MENU
(MENU).
En appuyant sur la touche SYSTEM
MENU
(MENU), vous commandez
l’affichage des options de menu du
système et vous pouvez y choisir le menu
correspondant à l’appareil que vous
utilisez à ce moment-là. Par exemple, vous
trouverez la plupart des fonctions associées
à l’enregistreur de MD dans MD MENU.
Vous pouvez changer l’option affichée en
appuyant sur les touches 2 et 3
(4
et ¢).
Pour sélectionner l’option de menu alors
affichée à l’écran, appuyez sur la touche
ENTER (SET). Si vous vous trompez
lorsque vous êtes dans le système de
menus, appuyez simplement sur la touche
7 pour annuler la commande et quitter
cet affichage.
Remarque
Les noms des touches de la télécommande
pour le tuner CD XC-L11 et pour le tuner
DVD/CD XV-DV77/DV88 sont mentionnés
dans toutes les instructions de ce manuel.
Lorsque le fonctionnement est le même,
les noms des touches du tuner DVD/CD
apparaissent d’abord; celles du tuner CD
sont ensuite mentionnées entre
parenthèses.
