Auto zoom function does not
operate correctly.
• Switch off the zoom function of the TV.
• Use the other preset aspect ratios or manual adjustment.
• Zoom function does not work well especially in dark scenes or does not work at all due to
the type of disc.

distorted.

Progressive video Page
There is a ghosting effect when the
progressive output is on.
• Set “VIDEO OUT (I/P)” in “VIDEO” menu to “INTERLACE”. 20
Picture not in progressive output. • Set “VIDEO OUT (I/P)” in “VIDEO” menu to “PROGRESSIVE”.
• If you connect the system to the TV through the VIDEO OUT terminal, output will be
interlace, even if “PRG” is shown.

Distorted sound or noise is heard.
“ST” flickers or does not show.
• Adjust the position of the FM or AM antenna.
• Press [PLAY MODE] to select “MONO”.

A beat sound is heard. • Switch off the TV or move it away from the system.
A low hum is heard during AM

• Move the antenna away from other cables and cords.

The USB mass storage device or
the contents in it cannot be read.
• The format of the USB mass storage device or the contents in it is/are not compatible
with the system.
• USB mass storage devices with storage capacity of more than 32 GB cannot work in
some conditions.

Slow operation of the USB mass
storage device.
• Large content size or large memory USB mass storage device takes longer time to read
and show on the TV.
USB recording stops suddenly
“REC ERROR”.
• Error occurred during USB recording. Disconnect the USB mass storage device and then
connect again.

Memory reset (Initialisation)
When these situations occur, refer to the instructions below to reset the memory:
• There is no response when buttons are pressed.
• You want to clear and reset the memory contents.
To reset memory
1. Disconnect the AC mains lead. (Wait 3 minutes before you continue with step 2.)
2. While you press and hold [

] on the main unit, connect the AC mains lead again.
“- - - - - - - -” shows on the display panel.
3. Release [

].
All the settings are set back to the factory preset. It is necessary to set the memory items again.
Maintenance
To clean this system, wipe with a soft, dry cloth.
• Never use alcohol, paint thinner or benzine to clean this system.
• Before using chemically treated cloth, read the instructions that came with the cloth carefully.
For a good quality sound (cassette tape deck)
Clean the heads regularly to make sure that you get good quality playback and recording. Use a cleaning tape (not included).
