Changing settings
≥The settings remain intact even if you switch the unit to standby.
See below and the following page for details (while VHS MENU is displayed).
Select the language for these menus and other on screen displays.
1 Press [34] to select “LANGUAGE”
and press [ENTER].
2 Press [34] to
choose the
preferred
language.

Press [MENU] to confirm and return to the previous screen.
The clock is set automatically after Plug-in Auto Tuning (➜ page 15).
Do the following if you want to set it again or if the time is not set
correctly.
1 Press [34] to select “CLOCK SET”
and press [ENTER].
2 Press [34] to
select “AUTO
CLOCK SET” and
press [ENTER].
Auto setting starts. This can take
some time.
To stop partway through
Press [MENU].
∫ If the unit cannot set the clock automatically
The MANUAL CLOCK SET screen appears. Set the time manually
(➜ below).
2 Press [34] to
select “MANUAL
CLOCK SET” and
press [ENTER].
3 Press [21] to
select the item you
want to change and press [34] to
change the setting.
4 Press [MENU] to start the clock and
exit the setting screen.
∫ Time reset function
To return the clock to the exact hour, wait until the clock in the
MANUAL CLOCK SET screen is within 2 minutes either side of the
hour (e.g., between 11:58:00 and 12:01:59) press [MENU] to clear
the screen. The clock changes to the exact hour.
