TV TYPE - Selects the type of television.
- MULTI SYSTEM : Automatic - self - selecting television sets.
- NTSC: If the connected TV uses NTSC system, select this mode. It will change the video signal of
a PAL disc to output in NTSC format (used in the USA, Canada and Japan).
- PAL: If the connected TV uses PAL system, select this mode. It will change the video signal of a
NTSC disc to output in PAL format (used in Western Europe).
VIDEO OUTPUT - Selects the VIDEO OUTPUT options.
- S-VIDEO: Select if your TV is connected using the S-VIDEO output.
- YCBCR: Select if your TV is connected using the component video output.
- RGB: Select if your TV is connected using the component video output (RGB).
AUDIO: Selects the spoken language. Selections are:
English - French - Spanish - Japanese - German - Italian – Others
SUBTITLE: Selects the displayed subtitle language. Selections are:
English - French - Spanish - Japanese - German - Italian - Others – O
DISC MENU: Selects a language for menus. Selections are:
English -French - Spanish - Chinese - Japanese - German - Italian - Others – O
PARENTAL: Parental controls setup. After selecting one of the PARENTAL items the screen will
change to the PASSWORD VERIFY page. Selections are:
1 G, 2, 3 PG, 4 PG13, 5, 6 PG-R, 7 NC-17, 8 ADULT, NO PARENTAL.
PASSWORD: Change Password. The default is 0000.
DEFAULTS: Select RESET and press the ENTER button to restore to all factory default settings.
SMARTNAVI: Select whether or not folders are displayed for media les; selections are NO MENU,
WITH MENU. It is advised to leave this setting “WITH MENU”.
