PLAYING SONGS, VIDEOS AND IMAGES
Basic playback of songs, videos and images including audio CDs, DVDs, MP3/WMA music les and
JPEG images is very similar and functions can be accessed directly from the unit’s front panel or
from the remote. This section focuses on basic controls. More advanced controls require use of
the OSD and are discussed in detail in section On Screen Display.
To begin playback
• Press the PLAY/PAUSE button.
• Press again to resume normal playback.
Note:
• This unit will not play DVD discs that have a dierent region code from the player’s setting
• will display on the TV screen when a button is pressed and the function is not available on the
disc you are playing.
To pause playback
• Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to pause. Press again to resume normal playback.
To stop playback
• Press the STOP button.
• To resume playback from the same point, press the PLAY/PAUSE button.
To skip to another track or chapter
• Press the SKIP/PRESET buttons on the remote repeatedly during playback or pause
• Use the buttons or the number keypad ( 0 ~ 10+ ) to enter and select a desired track/chapter to
begin playback.
To locate a point in a track quickly (Fast Forward and Fast Reverse)
• Press the buttons on the remote. Each time you press the button, searching speed
changes:
• To return to normal play press the PLAY/PAUSE button.
• The sound will be muted during fast forward or fast reverse search.
To watch frame by frame (Slow Motion Play)
• Press the SLOW button on the remote. Each time you press the button, playback speed changes:
FORWARD x 2 FORWARD x 4 FORWARD x 6 FORWARD x 8 PLAY
REVERSE x 2 REVERSE x 4 REVERSE x 6 REVERSE x 8 PLAY

MPEG4 VCD
Note:
• The sound will be muted during slow-motion play.
• Some discs and le formats may not respond to the slow feature.
• Audio formats do not support this feature.
