2 Making system connections between the AVR-M330 and the DVD player (DVD-M330) makes operation even easier. (For instructions on
connections, refer to “Connecting the audio components” on pages 14.)
2 System functions will not work properly if the input/output function settings are not right for the connected components. Be sure to set the
input/output functions for the components being used. (See page 28.) The setting contents are maintained until they are next changed even
when the power is switched off.
(1) Auto power on function
• When the play button on the DVD unit ( 1 ) or the DVD play button on the remote control unit ( 1 ) is pressed while the power is in the
standby mode, the DVD-M330 and AVR-M330’s power turns on automatically, and if a disc is loaded in the DVD-M330 the disc is played.

When the DVD-M330 and AVR-M330 are in the standby
mode, the power can be turned on simply by pressing the
play button on the DVD unit or the DVD play button on the
remote control unit. If a disc is loaded, playback starts.
•To listen to a radio program, simply press
one of the tuner preset buttons (“+” or “–”)
on the remote control unit. The power turns
on and a station is tuned in.

(2) Auto function selection

“DVD” and disc playback begins.
