Auto clear

• Auto clear automatically returns the copy
settings to the initial settings (p.00) when a
certain period of time elapses after a copy is
made. This program is used to select the
period of time. Auto clear can also be disabled.

Preheat mode
1: 20 sec.
2: 60 sec.
3: 90 sec.
4: 120 sec.
• If the machine is not used for a certain period
of time with the power on, preheat mode
automatically lowers the temperature of the
heater in the fusing unit to save power. This
program is used to select the period of time.
Preheat mode can also be disabled.
• When preheat mode turns on, the POWER
SAVE indicator lights up.

Auto power shut-off
time setting
1: 5 min.
2: 30 min.
3: 60 min.
4: 120 min.
5: 240 min.
• If the machine is not used for a certain period
of time with the power on, auto power shut-off
automatically turns off the power to the fusing
unit, enabling more power to be saved than
with preheat mode. This program is used to
select the period of time.
• When auto power shutoff activates, the
POWER SAVE indicator lights up and all other
indicators go off.

Stream feeding mode

• When copying using the SPF/RSPF, during
the period of time that the SPF/RSPF indicator
blinks after an original has been scanned
(about 5 seconds), a subsequent original can
be placed and automatically fed into the
machine.

Auto power shut-off

• Use this setting to enable or disable auto
power shut-off.

sheet of paper (2 IN 1/4 IN 1 copy), this
function can be used to print a solid or broken
borderline around each original image.
