CONVENTIONS USED IN THIS MANUAL
SPF AND RSPF
This operation manual refers to the Single Pass Feeder as the "SPF", and the Reverse Single Pass Feeder as the
"RSPF".
STANDARD FEATURES
Both the single-tray and two-tray models are explained in this manual, as well as the SPF/RSPF options and the
document cover.
Warns the user that injury to the user or damage to the machine may result if the contents of the
warning are not properly followed.
Cautions the user that damage to the machine or one of its components may result if the contents
of the caution are not properly followed.
Notes provide information relevant to the machine regarding specifications, functions,
performance, operation and such, that may be useful to the user.

• Can be used as a color scanner compatible with TWAIN, STI, and WIA (only
in Windows XP)
• Maximum scanning size is 11" x 17"
• Only USB port is supported (parallel port cannot be used; cannot be used in
Windows 95/NT 4.0)
