Removing and reinstalling the
CCD unit
CAUTION Be sure the power cord has
been unplugged from the
wall outlet.
Be sure to adjust the image
after installing the CCD
unit.
When disconnecting or
reconnecting connectors
from / to the AD converter
board, be careful not to
place any stress on the
board.
Procedure
1 Remove the right side cover (top), left side
cover, original stopper plates (left and
rear), scanner glass and top cover (right,
left, front center, and rear center). See
“External section” on page 132.
2 Remove eleven screws to remove the lens
light blocking cover.
