To protect a recorded MD
To record-protect an MD, slide open the tab at
the side of the MD. In this position, the MD
cannot be recorded or edited. To record again,
slide the tab back so the tab is visible.
Restrictions on the editing of
tracks checked out from the
computer
This unit was designed so that editing
functions (i.e., erasing tracks, adding track
marks, and erasing track marks) do not
function for tracks that have been checked
out from the computer using a unit which
support Net MD. This is to prevent the loss
of check-in authorization by the checked-out
tracks. To edit these tracks, first check them
back into the computer, and then edit them
on the computer.
