• When playing a VIDEO CD, Super Audio CD or
MP3 audio tracks, you cannot output digital audio.
• You can record digital audio from this system only
when DVD function is selected.
E VIDEO/SAT IN jacks
Use the audio/video cords (not supplied) to
connect an optional analog component (VCR,
etc.) to these jacks. You can then listen to from
the component through this system.
F VIDEO/SAT DIGITAL IN
OPTICAL jack
Use a digital optical cable (square, not supplied)
to connect an optional digital component
(satellite tuner, etc.) to this jack. You can then
listen to from the component through this
system.

1 Connect an optical cable.

2 Press FUNCTION repeatedly until “MD”
appears.
Start playing the connected component.

3 Press MENU/NO repeatedly until
