Setting the User PIN
A PIN locks a User Profile. When a PIN is assigned, the user must enter it
before he or she can view programs using that Profile.
You do not need to set a User PIN if you do not want to lock a User
Profile.
Point to and select Profile PIN to password-protect the User Profile. Once
this is done, the user will have to enter his or her PIN to view the Profile.
You can password protect each profile.
There are two ways to enter a PIN:
1. Use the number keys on the remote control to enter the four-digit
PIN.
2. Use the up and down arrows to go through numbers (0-9). Press the
right arrow on the remote control to move to the next digit.
After you set your PIN, you will need to re-enter it to verify that it is
correct.
Setting the Rating Limits
The rating limit is another way in which the digital receiver allows you
to determine what kinds of programs you want available to your family.
This feature lets you set the maximum viewing limits for rated programs.
