What is a Program Guide?
At first glance, the Program Guide looks much like the TV program
guide you see in a newspaper — a grid showing what programs are on
during each half-hour of the day, for each channel. But you also can use
the Program Guide to get more information about a program and to
tune digital receiver to a specific channel.
Using the Program Guide is easy — just point and select. Point to items
on the screen by pressing the arrows on the remote control or front
panel of the digital receiver. Then press SELECT•MENU to tune to that
program.
Using the GUIDE button
Whether you are in another menu or watching TV, pressing the GUIDE
button on the remote control takes you to the Program Guide. Each
additional press of the GUIDE button takes you to a different format of
the Program Guide.
• Press GUIDE once to see the half-screen Program Guide. This format
displays a three-line guide and the current channel.
Press the GUIDE button once to see the three-line guide.
• Press GUIDE again to see the full-screen Program Guide.
Press the GUIDE button twice to see the seven-line guide.
Bringing Up the Program
Guide
You can get to the Program Guide by
pressing the GUIDE button on the remote
control, or by selecting Program Guide or
PPV from the Main menu.
