Microphone mixing
\For\Southeast\Asia]
Enjoy microphone mixing from various music sources such as
cassette, disc, radio or portable audio equipment.
Preparation:
Lower the microphone volume with [jMIC VOLi] on the
main unit, then connect the microphone(s) to the
microphone jack(s).
Every time you press the [jMIC VOLi] buttons:
MIC 1 ,. MIC 2 ,. MIC 3 ,. MIC 4
Use a dynamic microphone.
Plug type: Φ6.3 mm monaural.
If a strange noise (howling) is emitted during use, move the
microphone away from the speakers, or lower the
microphone volume.
When you are not using the microphone, disconnect it from
the microphone jack, and lower the microphone volume to
“MIC 1”.
1 Select the music source:
When singing along with discs
Insert the desired disc (l page 12).
When singing along with cassette tape
Press deck 1 [<, OPEN] on the main unit and insert the
desired cassette tape (l page 25).
When singing along with radio
Select your desired station (l page 24).
When singing along with a portable audio
equipment
Connect and prepare the portable audio equipment
(l page 29).
2 Start singing and adjust volume with [jVOLUMEi]
and [jMIC VOLi] on the main unit.

Preparation:
Do the preparatory steps 1 and 2 on page 25, Recording.
1 Press deck 2 [OPEN, <] on the main unit and insert a
cassette tape.
2 Select the music source (l see above) and press [].
3 Press [¥, RECORD] on the main unit and start
microphone mixing.
To stop recording
Press [].

Preparation:
Do the preparatory steps 1 and 2 on page 25, Recording.
Ensure that there is no tape in deck 1.
1 Press deck 2 [OPEN, <] on the main unit and insert a
cassette tape.
2 Press [¥, RECORD] on the main unit to start
recording.
3 Speak through the microphone and adjust volume
with [jVOLUMEi] and [jMIC VOLi] on the main
unit.

1 Press and hold [jECHO].
Current setting appears on the display.
2 While current setting is displayed
Press [jECHO] to change the setting.
Every time you press the button:
ECHO 1 ) ECHO 2 ) ECHO 3 ) ECHO 4

[Note]
The effect increases with the level.
The setting will change only if you press [jECHO] right after
the current setting is displayed.
