Naming a track or disc
To name a disc
The MD recorder must be stopped.
To name a track
The MD recorder may be stopped, paused, playing, or recording.
(The characters being entered are canceled if the track that is playing or being recorded changes.)
1 Turn the MULTI JOG knob until
the track number for which you
want to enter a name is
displayed.
To name a disc, start from step 2,
skipping step 1.
Note
When the MD recorder is paused, playing, or
recording, the displayed track number is
selected. Therefore this step is unnecessary.
2 Press the EDIT/NO button and
turn the MULTI JOG knob to
select “Name In ?”.
To stop naming a disc or track
Press the EDIT/NO button several times until
“Name In?” disappears, or press the
button.
3 Press the MULTI JOG knob.
The blinking cursor appears.

When you name a track, the “TRACK”
indicator lights up.
When you name a disk, the “DISC”
indicator lights up.
Or, with the supplied remote controller,
press the NAME button.
To cancel the naming operation while the
cursor is blinking...
While pressing and holding down the EDIT/NO
button, press the YES button. Alternatively, press
the
button.
