AUTOMATICALLY DIALING A NUMBER IN THE CALLER ID DISPLAY
When the local area code and/or extra codes have been stored as described on page
13, you can automatically call a number from the caller ID log as follows:
Using the CID JOG control, scroll to
see the Caller ID log. Scroll up for
newer calls, down for older calls.

Press the TALK button and the
number will be automatically dialed.

SINGLE AREA CODE AREA: If the
area code of the selected call is
identical to the stored local area code,
the seven digit number will be dialed.
Otherwise, the full number will be
dialed, with a “1” prefix.
MULTIPLE AREA CODE AREA: If the
area code of the selected call is
identical to one of the stored “Local
with area code”, the three digit area
code, plus the seven digit number will
be dialed. Otherwise, the full number
will be dialed, with a “1” prefix.
SELECT BUTTON: The SEL button can be pressed to select functions instead of
pressing the CID JOG control, use the one you feel more comfortable with.
CLEAR BUTTON: Press and hold the CLEAR button to go back to the Standby
mode from any other mode.
