Basic Disc Operations
While playing a disc, you can do the following operations.
To stop playback for a moment
Press 3¥8.
While pausing, current track number and the
elapsed playing time flash on the display.
To resume playback, press 3¥8 again.
To locate a particular point in a track
During play, press and hold 4 or ¢.
• 4:Fast reverses the disc.
• ¢:Fast forwards the disc.
While playing back a VCD
• Each time you press and hold the button, the
search speed changes as follows:
To return to normal playback, press 3¥8.
To go to another track
Press 4 or ¢ repeatedly before or
during playback.
• 4: Goes back to the beginning of
the current or previous tracks.
• ¢: Skips to the beginning of the
next or succeeding
tracks.
To go to another group on the MP3 disc
Press GROUP/PRESET UP or GROUP/PRESET
DOWN repeatedly during playback.

OVER
To go to another track directly using
the number buttons
On the remote control ONLY:
Pressing the number button(s) before or during
playback allows you to start playing the track
number you want.
Ex.: For track number 5, press 5.
For track number 10, press OVER, 1, 0.
For track number 15, press OVER, 1, 5.
For MP3 disc only:
For track number 10, press OVER, 0, 1, 0.
For track number 15, press OVER, 0, 1, 5.

To Resume the Tracks—Resume Play
On the remote control ONLY:
Press RESUME.
The unit resumes playback from the position where
playback has been stopped while the disc is still in the
tray.

Slow-motion Playback
On the remote control ONLY:
Press SLOW while playing.
• Each time you press the button, playback speed
changes and slow indication appears on the TV as
follows:
To exit from Slow-motion Playback, press SLOW
repeatedly until “PLAY” appears on the TV.
