Viewing RDS information
When an RDS channel is being received, the frequency is displayed
briefly and then the station name appears continuously.
1 Press »DISPLAY« on the remote control.
– The programme type appears in the display (PTY).
2 Press »DISPLAY« on the remote control again.
– The radio text appears in the display as ticker text (display
»
TEXT«).
3 Press »DISPLAY« on the remote control again.
– The current time and day of the week appear in the display.
4 Press »DISPLAY« on the remote control again.
– The wavelength and the frequency appear in the display.
5 Press »DISPLAY« on the remote control one last time.
– The channel name is displayed continuously.
Programme types (PTY)
1 To view the current programme type, press »PTY« on the remote
control.
– Display: the current programme type, e.g. »NEWS«, »PTY«
flashes.
– If no programme type code is transmitted, »NO PTY« appears
in the display.
2 Press »PTY« repeatedly on the remote control to select another
programme type.
3 Press »8« or »9« to start the PTY search.
– Display: the frequency in rapid run-through, and »PTY«
flashes.
– The search stops once a station with the programme type you
want is found, and the selected programme type, for example
»POP M«, and the current time appear in the display.
Note:
Press »PTY« briefly to stop the search.
