existing presets and replace them with new ones at the same time.
1 To start the automatic station search in tuner mode, press and
hold down »
PROG./RAND. ¥«.
– After the search has finished, you will hear a stored station.
Note:
The automatic station search can be interrupted by briefly press-
ing »

RDS station service
RDS (Radio Data System) is an information system which is transmit-
ted additionally by most FM stations.
When the hi-fi system is receiving an RDS channel, the channel name,
for example »FANTASY«, and »
f« appear in the display.
Note:
It may take some time before all the RDS information is available.
GRUNDIG has no influence on the correctness of this informa-
tion.
Searching for RDS stations
1 To search for an RDS station, press »8« or »9« repeatedly
until »
f« appears in the display indicating that an RDS
station is being received.
– After a short time the station name appears if the reception is
sufficiently strong.
RDS time synchronisation
Some RDS stations transmit an RDS time signal (CT). If the se-
lected RDS station transmits this time information and the RDS
time synchronisation is set to »
CT ON« on the hi-fi, then the time is
automatically updated (» « flashes in the display).
Time synchronisation can take several minutes, and even with
good reception the accuracy depends on the time signal being
transmitted.
