USB input circuit
(USB_PW>***)
Sets whether the USB input circuit is always working or works only
when USB input is selected.
OFF
The USB input circuit operates only when “USB in” is selected. When
playing back discs or other sources, the influence of the USB input
circuit is reduced and a purer playback is possible. When switching
from “USB in” to another setting, USB input circuit turns off. When
the USB in is selected again, the audio player software on the
personal computer must be restarted.
ON
The USB input circuit is always on. The USB input circuit is operating
and maintains a connection to the personal computer, even the
source is selected other than “USB in”. Therefore, when “USB in”
is selected, there is no need for any operation on the personal
computer. (After selecting “USB in”, the audio player software on
the personal computer does not need to be restarted.)
This unit can control the volume of the analog audio output.
This means it can be directly connected to a power amplifier without
the need for a pre-amplifier.
< Set the attenuator setting to on (page 22).
Pressing the VOLUME + button raises the volume and pressing the
VOLUME – button lowers the volume.
Muting
When the MUTING button on the remote control is pressed, the
audio is temporarily muted. Pressing the button again returns the
volume to its previous level.
WARNING:
The volume level is retained even after you turn off the power.
Before turning on the power of the connected power amplifier,
always minimize the volume of this unit.
Never directly connect to a power amplifier with the attenuator
set to off.
This could create a sudden loud noise that can damage hearing
and speakers.
