ON/LIGHT
When this button is pressed, white buttons on the remote control
unit will light for a few seconds.

STANDBY
This button will not work on the SA-50. Please ignore this button.

Number buttons
Use these buttons to enter the track number for playback.

PLAY AREA
When a hybrid Super Audio CD is loaded and the disc is not
being played, press this button to change the play area of the disc
(page 14).

2CH/MULTI
This button will not work on the SA-50. Please ignore this button.
F
AUDIO
Use this button for the program audio playback (page 15).
G
SCAN (m/,)
Use these buttons to scan forward and backward during playback
(page 14).
H
STOP (H)
Use this button to stop playback (page 13).
I
PLAY (y)
Use this button to start playback (page 13).
J
VOLUME
When the attenuator function is switched on during setup mode,
these buttons control the output volume (page 23).
These buttons can also be used to control the volume of Esoteric
amplifiers.
K
INPUT
These buttons do not work on the SA-50, but these buttons can be
used to switch the input source selection for Esoteric amplifiers.
L
DIMMER
Use this button to select one of four brightness levels for the
display and indicator lamps (page 17).
M
SETUP
These buttons do not work on the SA-50, but these buttons can be
used for setup functions with Esoteric amplifiers.
N
OPEN/CLOSE (L)
Use this button to open and close the disc tray (page 13).
O
CLEAR
Use this button to clear entry errors.
P
DISPLAY
Use this button to change display mode (page 16).
Q
REPEAT
Use this button to engage the repeat playback mode (page 16).
This manual uses the button names of the main unit to explain their
operation. However, the same names for the remote control buttons
can also be used in the same way.
