Display Dimming
The display on the front panel can be dimmed to suit the environment
in which you listen to music. Complete dimming may also improve
audio playback quality.
Use the DIMMER button to cycle between these settings.
FL Dimmer3:
Full brightness
FL Dimmer2:
Medium brightness
FL Dimmer1:
Minimum brightness
OFF:
The display and indicators are o.
< Note that the OFF setting is not memorized when the power is
turned off.
< In OFF mode, when you press a button such as the PLAY button,
the illuminations will turn on for approximately three seconds.
D/A Converter Mode
This unit can be used as a 32 bit D/A converter.
When playback is stopped, pressing the MODE button changes the
input source.
When you are using the remote control unit, you can also begin this
function by pressing the GROUP/TITLE buttons (
/
) when
playback is stopped.
Repeated presses of the MODE button or the GROUP/TITLE buttons
will cycle the input selection options as shown below.

< When an external input (COAX in, OPT in, USB in) is selected, the
input name and input sampling frequency are displayed. When
there is no input signal or the input signal cannot be locked, the
input sampling frequency is not displayed and the input name
flashes.
< When there is no audio data in the input digital signal or the audio
signal cannot be output correctly (Dolby Digital, dts, AAC, etc.), the
sampling frequency is displayed as “---”. If this happens then set the
digital OUT setting of the connected device to PCM audio output.
< When an external input (COAX in, OPT in, USB in) is selected, only
the OPEN/CLOSE button can be used for CD/SACD operation.
