You can preset up to 40 FM/AM stations.
You can name the preset stations (up to 8 characters each).
Presetting or naming radio stations
(This operation is only possible from the remote control unit.)
• To change a preset station name, press the CH+(9)/ CH–(8) to display the preset station
you want to change, then press EDIT and use the same procedure as in step 3 above to
change.
• To preset only the frequency of the radio station, start over from step 1. Then press the ENTER/
MEMO button and proceed to steps 5 through 6. The display shows the preset number, band
and frequency.

Tune in the desired preset station.

Press the EDIT button on the remote
control unit.

You can now begin character input.

Press the EDIT button to confirm the
names of the preset stations..

Press the 9/8 button until the
desired character appears on the display.
Press the ENTER/ MEMO button on the
remote control unit to store the input
character.
•
Press the 7 button or the ENTER/
MEMO button to store the input
character. The cursor will move to the
next character space. Repeat step 3 until
all the characters have been stored.
•
You can move the cursor backward by
pressing the 6 button to make
corrections.

desired preset number.

Press the ENTER/ MEMO button to confirm
the preset station number.
If the following operation is performed when the system power is off, the power automatically
turns on and the radio is played. (Auto on function)

Using the RDS functions
(This operation is only possible from the remote control unit.)
Receiving RDS broadcasts (FM only)
NOTE: If no RDS station is found, “ NO PROGRAM ” is displayed.

TUNER button to select TUNER
mode.

Use the “9” and “8” buttons to select preset
number “3” or press the “3” button on the numeric
keypad to display preset number “P03”.

The “9” and “8” buttons on the main unit can
be selected when the preset mode has been set.

ress the 2 /BAND and + buttons at the same time to
change the Preset mode.)

the FM AUTO.
