Press the CURSOR 0 or 1 button to select
“LOW”, “MID” or “HIGH” for the “ROOM
DAMPING” mode, then press the CURSOR
ª
button.
LOW:
Select this for rooms with many hard walls and strong
reverberations (when the treble sound seems strong).
MID (Factory default):
Select this for rooms for which neither “LOW” or “HIGH”
apply.
HIGH:
Select this for rooms with thick curtains and little
reverberation (when the treble sound seems weak).

button to select “SETUP
MENU”, then press the ENTER button.
The “SPEAKER SETUP” screen appears.

button to select “NEXT
SETUP MENU”, then press the ENTER to enter
the setting.
The next screen in the “SETUP” menu screen appears.

“SPEAKER LOCATION”, then press the
ENTER button.
The speaker locations setting screen appears.
LOCATION:
Select the speaker setting location.
ROOM DAMPING:
Select the reverberation of the sound in the room in which the
speakers are located.

Press the CURSOR 0 or 1 button to select “1”,
“2” or “3” for the “LOCATION” mode, then
press the CURSOR
ª
button.
The “SPEAKER SETUP” screen appears.
1 (ON WALL):
Select this when satellite speakers are installed on the walls
or when there is a wall directly behind the speakers.
2 (ON SHELF) (Factory default):
Select this when the speakers are installed on a table or rack
using the included speaker stands.
3 (FREE STANDING):
Select this when a separately sold floor stand is installed.
Select “ON WALL” when there is a wall directly behind the
speakers, regardless of the “ON SHELF” or “FREE
STANDING” setting.
Setting “RATINGS”
PASSWORD:
Use this to change the password.
The set’s password is set to “0000” by default.
RATING LEVEL:
Use this to restrict playback of adult DVDs you do not want
children to view. Note that even with adult DVDs, viewing
cannot be restricted unless the restriction level is recorded on
the disc.
It is however possible to disable playback of all DVDs.
