• Different button is being pressed.
• < and > ends of battery inserted
in reverse.
• The mode selection of the remote
control is not properly selected.
The TV mode, DVD mode, CABLE
mode, or DBS mode is not
properly selected.
• Replace with new batteries.
• Move closer.
• Remove obstacle.
•Press the proper button.
• Insert batteries properly.
•Press the remote control MODE
SELECTOR switch for the item
you wish to operate. To operate
this unit, use with the DVD mode.

Hissing or continuous
noise is heard when
receiving AM programs
• This may be noise from a TV or
interference from a radio station.
•Turn off the TV.
• Change the position and direction
of the AM loop antenna.

•Avoid high temperatures.
Allow for sufficient heat
dispersion when installed on a
rack.
• Keep the apparatus free from
moisture, water, and dust.
• Do not let foreign objects into the
apparatus.
• Handle the power cord carefully.
Hold the plug when unplugging
the cord.
• Unplug the power cord when not
using the apparatus for long
periods of time.
• Do not let insecticides, benzene,
and thinner come in contact with
the apparatus.
• Never disassemble or modify the
apparatus in any way.
• Do not obstruct the ventilation
holes.
