2.4 Upgrade the Firmware and Reboot the Singlewire-
enabled Speaker
To upload the Singlewire-enabled Speaker firmware from your PC:
1. Set up a TFTP server.
If you do not already have a TFTP server running on your network, see Appendix B, "Setting up
a TFTP Server".
2. Retrieve the latest Singlewire-enabled Speaker firmware from the Singlewire-enabled Speaker
Downloads page at:
http://www.cyberdata.net/products/voip/digitalanalog/singlewirespeaker/downloads.html
3. Unzip the Singlewire-enabled Speaker version file. This file may contain the following:
•Firmware file
• Release notes
4. Copy the firmware files to be upgraded to the appropriate TFTP server directory:
• c:\tftp-root\for Windows
• /tftpboot/for Linux
5. Log in to the Singlewire-enabled Speaker home page as instructed in Section 2.3.1, "Log in to the
Configuration Home Page".
