Variables
The environment variables listed in the table below can
be modified if required:
Environment Variable Description
EL_SYSLOG_FACILITY
(DataMgr defaults to 1)
(AMASS defaults to 2)
Identifies the UNIX user-definable logging process that
sends DataMgr messages to the system log. The options
are listed below:
0 = LOG_LOCAL0
1 = LOG_LOCAL1
2 = LOG_LOCAL2
3 = LOG_LOCAL3
4 = LOG_LOCAL4
5 = LOG_LOCAL5
6 = LOG_LOCAL6
7 = LOG_LOCAL7
EL_SYSLOG_OPTIONS
(defaults to p)
Indicates message destination. Use one, all, or any
combination of options. Options are:
p = use LOG_ PID.
c = use LOG_CONS to log messages to console too.
d = use LOG_NDELAY to log messages without delay.
