4. While viewing your message press the Option (left) soft
key ( ). The following options appear in the display:
ⅷ Reply — Compose and send a message to the originator of
the received message.
ⅷ Lock/Unlock — Block a message from being erased or free
a message to be erased.
ⅷ Erase — Delete the message and its contents.
ⅷ Forward — Send a copy of the message to another
recipient.
ⅷ Save Contact — Save the sender’s number to your Contacts.
5. Use the navigation keys to highlight an option. Press the
key to perform the function for the highlighted
option.
Outbox
Your phone stores messages in the Outbox, regardless
of whether the message was successfully transmitted.
Verify if and when a message or e-mail was successfully
transmitted by enabling the Delivery Ack feature. See
“Send Options” on page 99 for more information on
delivery acknowledgements.
Review Messages in the Outbox
1. In standby mode, press In standby mode, press the
Down navigation key, then press
for Outbox
. Your
list of sent messages appear in the display.
2. Use the navigation keys to highlight the message that
you wish to review, then press the key.
