SET MENU
Input Mode (Input mode)
Use this feature to designate the input mode for sources
connected to the DIGITAL INPUT jacks when you turn on
this unit (see page 19 for details about the input mode).
INPUT menu > Input Mode >
SETTING
Choices: Fixed, Variable(Last), Variable(Auto)
Select Fixed to fix the input mode used for that source.
Select Variable(Auto) if you want “Auto” to be set
whenever you turn on this unit’s power.
Select Variable(Last) to set this unit to automatically
select the last input mode used for that source.
When Fixed is selected, you cannot switch the input mode by
pressing INPUT. In this case, switch the input mode using the
SET MENU.
VCR
Select to adjust the VCR input mode.
VIDEO1
Select to adjust the VIDEO1 input mode.
VIDEO2
Select to adjust the VIDEO2 input mode.
DTV/CBL
Select to adjust the DTV/CBL input mode.
DVD/CD
Select to adjust the DVD/CD input mode.
Choices: AUTO, dts, Analog
Select AUTO if you want this unit to automatically
select input signals in the following order:
1) Digital signals*
2) Analog signals
Select dts if you want this unit to select only digital
signals encoded in DTS. If no DTS signals are input,
no sound is output.
Select Analog to if you want this unit to select only
analog signals. If no analog signals are input, no sound
is output.
* If this unit detects a Dolby Digital or DTS signal, the decoder
automatically switches to the appropriate sound field program.
Use this menu to manually adjust the optional system
settings.
1 Press AMP to select the AMP mode, then
press SET MENU.
2 Press k/n repeatedly to select OPTION
menu, then press h.
3 Select the desired parameters, then press
ENTER to access and adjust.
