NO SIGNAL The recorder could not detect digital input signals.
, Make sure that the source is connected firmly (page 19).
P/B ONLY You tried to record or edit on a pre mastered MD (P/B stands for
playback).
, Insert a recordable MD.
PROTECTED You tried to record or edit on a MD with the tab in the record-protect
position.
, Slide the tab back (page 61).
REC ERR Recording was not correctly done.
, Place the recorder at a place with no vibrations and record again.
The disc is soiled with an oil film or finger prints, is scratched, or is
not a standard disc.
, Try recording again with another disc.
READ ERR The recorder cannot read the disc information correctly.
, Reinsert the disc.
SORRY You tried to erase the track mark at the beginning of the first track.
You tried to erase a track mark to combine tracks the recorder cannot
combine (a track recorded in stereo and in mono, for example).
You tried to overwrite a track marks.
You tried to press X or T MARK during synchro-recording.
You tried to turn on group function while programming.
