Additional Information
Playback stops automatically.
Some discs may contain an auto pause
signal. While playing such a disc, the
playback stops at auto pause signal.
You cannot perform some functions
such as Stop, Lock Search, Slow-
motion Play, Repeat Play, Shue Play
or Program Play.
Depending on the disc, you may not
be able to do some of the operations
above. Refer to the operating
instructions supplied with the disc.
The DATA CD/DVD (MP3 audio track/
JPEG image le) cannot be played
back.
e DATA CD is not recorded in a
format that conforms to ISO 9660
Level 1, Level 2, or Joliet (expansion
format).
e DATA DVD is not recorded
in a format that conforms to UDF
(Universal Disk Format).
e MP3 audio track does not have the
extension “.mp3”.
e data is not stored in the desired
format.
e MP3 audio tracks in format other
than MPEG 1 Audio Layer 3 cannot be
played back.
e system can play back to a depth of
8 folders only.
For MP3 audio tracks and JPEG image
les, check the “MODE (MUSIC,
IMAGE)” setting (page 45).
e disc contains more than 200
folders.
e folder contains more than 150
tracks/les.
e JPEG image le does not have the
extension “.jpg” or “.jpeg”.
e JPEG image le is larger than
3,072 (width) × 2,048 (height) in
normal mode, or more than 2,000,000
pixels in Progressive JPEG mode which
is mainly used on the Internet website.
JPEG image les with a high width to
length ratio cannot be played back.
The MP3 audio tracks take longer
time to play back than others.
Aer the system reads all the tracks on
the disc, playback may take more time
than usual if:
the number of folders or tracks on
the disc is very large.
the folder and track organization
structure is very complex.
“Data error” appears on the TV
screen when playing a DATA CD/DVD.
e MP3 audio track/JPEG image le
you want to play is broken.
e data is not MPEG 1 Audio Layer 3
data.
