Tape
Playing a tape
You can use TYPE I (normal) tape.

Press FUNCTION +/ (or
FUNCTION on the unit)
repeatedly to select “TAPE.”

Insert a tape.
Press 
on the unit to insert a
tape into the cassette holder with the
side you want to play back facing up.
Make sure there is no slack in the tape
to avoid damaging the tape or the
cassette holder.

on the unit.
e tape starts playing.

Note
Be sure to press  on the unit aer the
tape has been wound or rewound to the end.
Recording onto a tape
ere are three ways to record on a TYPE
I (normal) tape.
Use the buttons on the unit for the
operation.
e recording level is adjusted
automatically.
CD Synchro Recording
You can record an entire VIDEO CD or
AUDIO CD onto a tape.
Manual Recording
You can record just the portion you
want from a sound source, including
connected audio components.
Sound Mixing
You can “mix” sound from any one of the
sound sources and singing or speaking
into a microphone. e mixed sound can
be recorded onto a tape.
