6 Select the sound source or
prepare the tape.
For Play Timer:
Press V or v repeatedly until the
music source you want appears in the
display, then press ENTER. The
display will show the timer settings.
For Recording Timer:
The display will show the timer
settings. Load a recordable tape into
Deck B. Press DIRECTION on the
unit repeatedly to select “g” to
record on one side or “j” (or
“RELAY”) to record on both sides.
When recording from the reverse side,
press FUNCTION +/– (or TAPE A/B
on the unit) repeatedly to select “TAPE
B”. Then, press
H (or nN on the
unit) repeatedly until the TAPE B
reverse side indicator lights up to start
playback of the reverse side. Press x at
the point where you want to start
recording.
When you record on both sides, be sure
to start from the front side. If you start
from the reverse side, recording stops
at the end of reverse side.
7 Press "/1 (or "/1 STANDBY on
the unit) to turn off the system.
Other operations
Notes
If you use the Play Timer or Recording Timer
and the Sleep Timer at the same time, the
Sleep Timer has priority.
The Play Timer and Recording Timer will not
be activated if the system is turned on or if
“STANDBY” flashes in the display.
The system turns on 30 seconds before the
preset time. Do not operate the system from
the time the system turns on until the
recording starts.
The volume is reduced to minimum during
Recording Timer.

Check the setting 1 Press TIMER MENU.
“TIMER SELECT”
flashes in the display.
2 Press ENTER.
3 Press V or v
repeatedly to select
“PLAY SELECT” or
“REC SELECT”, then
press ENTER.

1 Press TIMER MENU.
“TIMER SELECT”
flashes in the display.
2 Press ENTER.
3 Press V or v
repeatedly to select
“TIMER OFF”, then
press ENTER.
