Sound Adjustment
Speaker output in Dolby Digital
Karaoke format
You can check the audio information by
pressing AUDIO (page 28). When
playing a Dolby Digital Karaoke disc, “9
appears at the current audio format
(page 69).
Example:
1 Press DISPLAY once or twice
when Karaoke Mode is turned on
while playing a disc.
The Control Menu for Karaoke Mode
appears on the TV screen.
2 Press V or v repeatedly to
select the Karaoke item from the
displayed list, then press
ENTER.
The Karaoke item is selected.
3 Press V or v repeatedly to
select the setting you want, then
press ENTER.
Setting the Karaoke Mode
The default settings are underlined.
KARAOKE PON
1)
ON: Enjoy karaoke with any disc, even if
it is not a karaoke or multiplex disc by
reducing the sound of the vocal.
OFF
: Cancel the “KARAOKE PON”
effect.
KEY CONTROL
2)
Adjust the pitch of the music to suit your
vocal range.
Select “3” to cancel the “KEY
CONTROL” effect.
VOCAL SELECT
3)
(DVD VIDEO, VIDEO CD, AUDIO CD
only)
When playing a DVD VIDEO:
OFF: Cancel the guide vocal.
1+2: Guide vocal 1+2.
1: Guide vocal 1.
2: Guide vocal 2.
When playing a VIDEO CD or AUDIO
CD:
OFF: Cancel the guide vocal.
L+R: The same sound is output from both
speakers.
STEREO: The standard stereo sound.
When playing a Super VCD:
OFF: Cancel the guide vocal.
1: L+R: Same sound of the audio track 1
is output from both speakers.
1: STEREO: The stereo sound of the
audio track 1.
2: L+R: Same sound of the audio track 2
is output from both speakers.
2: STEREO: The stereo sound of the
audio track 2.
