to a DivX Certied prole.
e MPEG4 video le has the
extension “.mp4” or “.m4v,” but does
not conform to MPEG4 Simple Prole.
The disc title, CD-TEXT and DVD-TEXT
characters do not appear properly.
e disc is recorded in format other
than ISO 9660 Level 1, Level 2 or Joliet
(expansion).
e character code that can be
displayed by this system are as follows:
Upper cases (A to Z)
Numbers (0 to 9)
Symbols (< > * +, ? / [ ] \ _)
Other characters appear as “”.
The surround eect is dicult to hear
when you are playing a Dolby Digital
or MPEG audio sound track.

ake sure the sound eld is set
properly (page 91).

heck the speaker connection
(page 23).

epending on the DVD VIDEO, the
output signal may not be the entire 5.1
channel. It may be monaural or stereo,
even if the sound track is recorded in
Dolby Digital or MPEG audio format.
The sound loses stereo eect when
you play back a DVD VIDEO, VIDEO
CD
, AUDIO CD, MP3 le or video le.

nplug the microphone or press
KARAOKE MODE repeatedly until
“KARAOKE MODE: OFF” appears in
the display.
Make sure the system is connected
properly.

heck the speaker connection

iPod
There is no sound.

ake sure the iPod is connected
securely.

ake sure the iPod is updated with the
latest soware. If not, update the iPod
before using with the system.

ake sure the iPod is playing music.

djust the volume.

t may take time to start playback
depending on the contents.
The sound is distorted.

urn down the volume.

et the “EQ” setting of the iPod to
“O” or “Flat.”
The remote does not function.

ake sure the iPod is connected
securely.

ake sure the iPod is updated with the

before using with the system.
